Chodosh Guitar maintains professional
standards and an ethical dedication toward the students' education.
Students are offered a variety
of choices including straight ahead performance or the more sophisticated
theory and composition curriculum. As well, varying degrees of difficulty
are employed so that we can best suite those needs ranging from the hobbyist strummer
to the screaming soloist, the aspiring-writer and the creative arranger student. |

We have experience teaching
ages ranging from 6 to over eighty and our students' levels of
achievement have
spanned from absolute beginners to professional players with years of performance
under their belts. Even music directors and professional guitar teachers
have come to Chodosh Guitar to hone their skills and to improve their knowledge
of music theory.

about michael
Michael Chodosh studied arranging
and composition at Berklee College of Music in Boston.
He has performed concerts and shows
at clubs throughout the United States with such groups as Rock Around the
Clock, The Vision, Latin Fire, Forward Motion, The Freddie Bell Show, Legends
in Concert, The Checkmates, My Brother and Me, The
Sherman Gunn Big Band, The Steve Michaels Band, The Casa de Carr show,
Shanakee and many more.

Before locating in Las Vegas, Nevada
and performing at most of the casinos there, Michael ran the Chodosh Guitar
and Music Theory School in Elko, Nevada. There he performed and composed
pieces for the Northern Nevada Concert Orchestra, The
American Cancer Foundation and The American Heart Foundation. He also held
classes at the Northern Nevada Community College and was the principal
founder of the Elko Jazz Festival which is still on-going today.
