I always tell my students not to confuse the Hopo with a Poho. These licks use the Hammer On, Pull Off (HO,PO) techniques that we all seem to start with as young lead players. They prove to be lightning fast techniques that come quickly to a guitaritst. We even spend a life time trying to find the next technique, searching high and low and yet at every gig, there it is, you just cant help but play these soulful, wonderful sounds!
